    Conveyor Systems

    Conveyor Systems

A key requirement of packaging and processing is the ability to safely and efficiently convey the raw or finished product between each section of the manufacturing process. We specialise in the design and supply of conveying systems to handle both raw and finished products through all stages. Our in-house CAD designers design and prepare 3D drawings of the proposed system, which is then manufactured to specification by our suppliers.

On completion, engineers from the Food Machinery Company attend site to install and commission the system, ensuring it integrates fully with both new and existing equipment.

We offer a range of systems.

    Including:

Augers Feeders, Linear Motion Conveyors, Working Platforms, Rotary Packing Tables, Bucket Elevators, Vacuum Conveyors and Incline Conveyors.

    Conveyor & Handling Systems

Efficient food processing isn't possible without food conveyors, which move the product between machines and ultimately to its final spot on the pallet. At the Food Machinery Company, we offer food conveyors in a range of styles and sizes to suit all types of facilities.

    An Essential Food Processing Tool

Food conveyors really are an essential element in any modern food production operation. Food conveyors are the pipes which connect your network of machines, from the weighers to the processing machinery and packagers, and keep production going at a steady rate. A broken food conveyor will slow or even halt production, so it's important to invest in quality conveyors and keep them well maintained.

Before the invention of the food conveyor, food production was a considerably slower, more dangerous industry. Food conveyors speed up production, reducing the need for manual labourers moving elements from one machine to another, and making the facility floor a safer place to work: using food conveyors means employees aren't always walking around the facility floor carrying heavy loads, risking injury and accidental damage on a daily basis. On top of this, certain types of conveyors, such as tubular drag conveyors, can also eliminate contaminants and increase food safety standards.

Food Conveyors For All Kinds Of Operations

Choosing a food conveyor isn't as easy as it sounds; modern food conveyors are available in a wide range of styles and types depending on their function. For example, FMC ready meal systems have been designed with ready meal production in mind, while vertical feed conveyors are perfect in facilities where space is at a premium. Bucket elevators can be used to feed dry products vertically before they're fed into a hopper or a weigher. It's also important to consider conveying accessories, such as vibratory feeders which are used to funnel bulk volumes of product onto either a conveyer or a weighing machine.

At The Food Machinery Company Ltd., all of our food conveyors have been chosen for their reliability, ergonomics, and hygiene standards. Every food conveyor is easy to wash and keep clean day after day, month after month.
