How fast are your pick and place robots?

Our fastest robots can operate at up to 200 picks per minute! However, there are many other factors to consider when handling products or processes quickly, such as whether the product will survive being moved at speed or whether the robot will be able to maintain repeatability.

All robot manufacturers state a minimum cycle time based on a recognised bench test series of movement distances. However, this is not the whole story and Sipro will always consider the condition of the product and the degree of repeatability that is needed for the task. Often this results in an actual cyclic test being set up to determine the failure point for that product. We can then base the actual cycle time on realistic application data
